This 5 day course is designed as an introduction to investigation for new investigators or for those in need of refresher training. It is a generic course as it focuses largely on ethical approaches to investigation that are compliant with human rights legislation.

Course rationale

The course works through a themed case study allowing students to immerse themselves in the investigation. They plan what they will do in respect of information provided to them and are encouraged to take account of all potential evidence trails whilst developing professional and accountable procedures.
